  1. D-01: This is a planter at the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market. Looks like a D to me! We loved going to this place when we lived in Kernersville, NC. Location: Colfax, NC

  2. D-02: This D is actually the side of a basket in a hotel. Location: Charlotte, NC

  3. D-03: This hole makes a D and was found in a hubcap in an apartment complex. Location: Kernersville, NC

  4. D-04: The handle of this mug makes a D and was found in a department store. Location: Charlottesville, VA

  5. D-05: A gift from a friend in the shape of a D to display small flowers. Location: Kernersville, NC

  6. D-06: A seashell found at the beach when I was a kid. Location: Kernersville, NC

  7. D-07: I made this letter D out of glass beads. It's sitting on our couch in a previous apartment! Location: Kernersville, NC

  8. D-08: I took a walk when we were living in Crested Butte, CO and found this D at a playground. Location: Mount Crested Butte, CO

  9. D-09: This letter D is a magnetic letter on a chalkboard taken while living in Colorado at Black Bear Lodge. Location: Mount Crested Butte, CO

  10. D-10: White painted letter D on a brick wall. The full title was Jack Daniel's at the Opryland Hotel. We went there on our way back from Colorado. My cousin Joey gave us a tour of the town and we got to see the awesome Christmas lights they put on display at the hotel. Location: Nashville, TN

  11. D-11: This D was carved into a wooden sign at Jockey's Ridge State Park. Scott's mom and I took a walk on the sand dunes! Location: Outer Banks, NC

  12. D-12: It's always fun to write letters in the sand with sticks! We got this D in before it washed away. Location: Duck, NC

  15. D-15: Baseballs placed in the grass at a family celebration near a camp in the woods. Location: Lyndhurst, VA
